Marketing Club Event

Marketing Club held a routine event “Marketing Club Event” with the topic related to the world of marketing in Indonesia. Discussion topic titled “Sell in more... Sel out more...” was held at Tea Addict - Jl. Gunawarwan No. 9 Selong, Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta on May 29, 2013.

At this time, the Marketing Club invited  Mr. Joko Wiyono, Managing Director of QASA Strategic Consulting as a resource, he is very experienced in the field of business consulting, includes the retail consulting.

Topic raised by Mr. Joko Wiyono is : “HOW TO WIN THE COMPETITION THROUGH RETAIL CHANNEL”. What kind of steps and strategies that should be taken by the business marketing in order to beat the competition. There are two issues raised in the discussion : Trade Marketing & Shopper Marketing, what is the difference & how these two functions is explained by Mr. Joko Wiyono in great detail.

The event created a very relaxed, there is two-way communication between participants, thus the event is very interactived and interested throughout the event until the end.

The event started at 7pm to 10pm is very successfull, it can be seen from the number of participants is quite high (approximately 40 participants) came from a variety of industries, such as FMCG, Banking, Telecom, Pharmaceutical, Automotive and Retail. The event is considered very short given until the end of the event, the participants  are still sharing their experiences and knowledge to each others in the marketing system that they run so far in their respective companies. This is proves that the event is successfull and high enthusiasm of participants joined the event.
